Retail Associate
Job Summary
UW Provision is a family-owned regional distributor of meat products in Middleton and Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. The Retail Associate is responsible for the daily operations of our retail stores. We are looking for a high-energy individual motivated to improve our daily operations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Creating a welcoming environment for customers
- Training and developing new hires
- Greeting and assisting customers as needed
- Ensuring the store is clean and properly stocked
- Engaging customers and assisting them as needed
- Communicating regularly with the store manager regarding job duties as needed
- Providing excellent customer service to all customers
- Following cash handling procedures and ensuring accurate counts at the end of each shift
- Other duties as assigned by the store manager
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with MS Office
- Able and willing to work in a team environment
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal and external customers
- Must be able to attain a license to sell alcohol
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred
