Retail Store Associate – Sun Prairie
Job Summary
The Retail Store Associate is responsible for the daily operations of our retail store(s). This Part-Time or Full-Time position is located at our retail store in Sun Prairie, WI.
Essential Functions:
- Consistently creates a welcoming environment for customers by greeting and assisting, as well as quickly responding to customer inquiries and needs
- Assist customers in locating and discussing products
- Ensure store is properly stocked with products and is a clean environment
- Demonstrate desired behaviors including, but not limited to, customer engagement, driving sales and Company profitability, and handling difficult and/or complicated matters
- Regularly communicate with Assistant Retail Stores Manager and Retail Stores Manager
- Other duties as assigned by the Retail Stores Manager
Skills Required:
- Must have an outgoing personality
- Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Experience working in a retail environment with a Point-of-Sale system is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel and Outlook
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Previous experience in retail store environment preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal and external customers
