Job Summary

UW Provision Company, Inc. is seeking warehouse workers. UW Provision is a family-owned, regional distributor of meat products since 1958 and is in Middleton, WI. This position carries out responsibilities in the freezer department. We are looking for someone who is motivated, highly organized, and likes to work in a team environment.

Working with different hand tools and power tools

• Working independently and urgently to resolve problems that may occur throughout the day
• Communicating with different departments to ensure the flow of productivity.

Education and Experience

• H.S Diploma or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse maintenance environment (Required)
• 1-3 years of experience with refrigeration systems (Preferred)

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to motivate, collaborate and lead.
• Highly organized with a record of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enjoy and create a team environment.
• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.

Physical Requirements

• Must regularly use hands to finger/feel, reach with hands/arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend;
• Must occasionally lift weight up to 100 pounds; must often work in extremely cold environments.

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Sun Prairie, WI 53562: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 2 years (Preferred)
