On Thursday, January 26th, 2022, Public Health Madison and Dane County published Face Covering Emergency Order #7 which requires face masks to be worn in public settings in Dane County starting Wednesday, February 2nd at 12:01 am. This order will be in effect until March 1st, 2022.
This order states:
- Face coverings are required among people ages two and older when in an enclosed space open to the public where other people, except for members of the person’s own household or living unit, are present.
- Face coverings are also required while driving or riding in any form of public transportation.
- If everyone in an enclosed space is fully vaccinated, people are then able to remove their masks. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech’s or Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine or two weeks after their first dose of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine.
Because UW Provision and its retail stores are located in Dane County, our employees and customers must abide by Face Covering Order #6 for the health and safety of us all. Please continue to keep a physical distance of 6 feet from customers and retail staff members at all times. Thank you for understanding and your cooperation!
