01.17.2022 Meat Tip Monday
For this Meat Tip Monday, we will be focusing on how to bake beef ribs. First, you want to stop by either The Meat Market or Local Source foods and pick up some delicious beef ribs. To learn how to bake beef ribs, please follow these cooking tips:
Prepare Your Beef Ribs
First, you want to rinse the beef rib in some cold water and then pat them dry with some paper towel. You then want to place the ribs on a cutting board. If you want to remove the membrane take a butter knife and loosen the membrane on the bottom of the ribs. Once the membrane is loose use your hand or paper towel to peel away the membrane. Now cut each rib apart by cutting between each bone. Next, rub each rib with some dry seasoning.
Cooking Your Beef Ribs
First, pre-heat your oven to 350°F. Once your oven is preheated place the ribs on a baking tray and bake for an hour. After an hour of baking pull the ribs out of the oven and turn up the oven to 450°F. As your oven heats up cover the ribs in your favorite bbq sauce. Once the oven has reached 450°F place the ribs back in for 10-15 minutes to carmelize. Make sure to keep your eye on the ribs so they don’t burn!
