How to Grill Chicken Wings

For this Meat Tip Monday, we are focusing on how to grill whole chicken wings. First, you want to stop by either of our retail locations The Meat Market or Local Source Foods, and purchase some whole chicken wings. To grill chicken wings please follow these cooking tips:
Prepare Your Chicken Wings
First, you will want to preheat your grill to a target temperature of 400° F. As your grill heats up place your wings inside a large Ziploc bag and add your favorite dry rub seasoning and some corn starch on top of the wings inside the bag. Shake the bag well to season your wings. After the wings are covered in seasoning place them on a baking sheet.
Cooking Your Chicken Wings
First, wait until your grill is preheated. Once your grill is at 400° F place the wings on the grill in a circle surrounding the heat source. Next, place the cover back on the grill and let sit for about 0 minutes. After the 10 minutes are up flip the wings over and cover the grill again cook for another 10 minutes. Once the 10 minutes are up flip the wings and grill for another 10 minutes. After the last 10 minutes are up check the temperature of the wings and make sure they read at least 170° F
Making Your Chicken Wings Sauce
First, grab a small saucepan and over medium heat add your favorite bbq sauce, butter, and honey. Make sure to stir until the butter is fully melted and everything is combined. Next, place the sauce in a large mixing bowl and place wings in the sauce.
