Next, in a large bowl add salt, pepper, and some of your favorite spices with 1/4 cup of flour. After, you mix the combination add the meat to the bowl, making sure to cover it in flour. Now that your meat is covered in flour the next step is to create the steaming liquid. To do this combine 1/2 to 1 1/2 cups of beef broth, cider, wine, water, beer, water, juice, or other liquids with dry spices and seasoning in a bowl. Now that your steaming liquid is created slice your favorite vegetables you want to include with your steamed meat. Lastly, you want to preheat your skillet and add 1tbsp of olive oil once the pan is nice and hot.
Cooking
Once your skillet is nice and hot, add your meat to the skillet. Once your desired meat has browned on each side, add your steaming liquid to the pan and bring it to a boil. Make sure as your steaming liquid heats up, you stir it and scrape the bottom of the skillet to loosen any pieces of flour or meat.
