UW Provision cuts costs with CNG
10.09.2017 The UW Provision Legacy
UW Provision made the switch to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) with three delivery trucks – by the end of the year that number will grow to eight. Why CNG when diesel prices are low? CNG still costs less than diesel, averaging around $1.99 at public stations in Dane County. Steve Kalscheur, president of UW Provision, was also intrigued by lower maintenance costs, quiet operation and the opportunity to use a fuel produced in the U.S. “Pays for itself pretty quick,” commented Kalscheur.
