What Are Karubi Ribs?
Karubi ribs are a great alternative for short ribs! Kraubi ribs are Korean-style short ribs that have a lot more marbling than traditional roast cuts do. A slice of karubi is around 1/8inch thick and can cooks very quickly due to its high marbling.
How To Cook Karubi Ribs?
To cook the perfect rib first, let your ribs marinate in a delicious Teryaki marinade. To make this marinade add:
3 cups shoyu
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup sake
1/8 cup mirin
8 large cloves of garlic, grated
1″ piece ginger, grated
hot peppers to taste
Once your ribs are marinated the best way to cook them is by using the oven! First, preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Then, cover your baking sheet with aluminum foil, placing the ribs meat side down on the baking sheet. Once, your oven is fully heated up place the ribs inside and cook them for 1.5 hours to 2 hours depending on your desired tenderness. Now that your ribs are fully cooked throw them on the grill to give them a nice char and make sure they are caramelized.
