Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Cheese Expertise: Provide expert knowledge on various cheese types, origins, and pairings.
• Customer Engagement: Assist customers in selecting cheeses, offering samples, and suggesting pairings with wines or other products.
• Educational Experiences: Conduct cheese education sessions and tastings for customers and staff.
• Inventory Management: Manage cheese inventory, including ordering, receiving, and ensuring proper storage and handling.
• Merchandising: Creatively display cheese products to enhance customer appeal and drive sales.
• Quality Control: Ensure all cheese products meet our high standards of quality and freshness.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to promote cheese-related products and events.
• Sales Growth: Contribute to sales growth by providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge.

Job Qualifications

• Passionate About Cheese: Deep knowledge and passion for cheese, including different types, origins, and pairings.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to educate and engage customers.
• Sales Experience: Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in food or specialty products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage inventory with attention to detail.
