Chimichurri Tacos

Bring authentic Argentinian Chimichurri to the table tonight! With this easy to prepare- already marinated- beef, simply toss everything into a shell and you’ve got you new favorite meal! Give it a try tonight and let us know what you think
Ingredients
for the Tacos
- 1 package La Herencia® Chimichurri
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- ½ white onion
- 1 pack hard taco shells
- Toppings! (shredded cabbage, carrots, sliced peppers, tomatoes, etc)
- 1 deveined jalapeño chopped (optional)
- 1 lime
for the Chimichurri Sauce
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp red vinegar
- 1 ½ tablespoon fresh oregano
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper flakes
Instructions
for the Tacos
- Devein jalapeños and dice. Dice garlic cloves, and white onion. Dice toppings. Combine ingredients in a bowl, add lime juice, hint of salt & pepper and mix.
- Add white onion to preheated grill to medium-high heat. Next add La Herencia ® Chimichurri to skillet. Cook for 4 minutes covered, flip, and continue to cook for 3 additional minutes covered or until internal temperature of 145°F is reached on instant read thermometer. Remove from heat, let rest for 3 minutes.
- Remove Chimichurri meat from heat, and cut into slices or cubes. Begin taco assemblance. Carefully fill hard taco shell with La Herencia® Chimichurri meat. Followed by slaw, and topped with chimichurri sauce.
for the Chimichuri Sauce
- In a food processor, or blender add fresh parsley, garlic cloves, pepper flakes, salt to taste, oregano, extra virgin olive oil, and red wine vinegar.
