Mixed Seafood in Garlic and Wine Sauce

Mixed seafood with garlic and wine sauce to serve as an app with bread or as a main dish with rice, pasta, in a bread bowl, or whatever you fancy Our West Bay Seafood mix comes with everything you need to enjoy an authentic seafood dinner- but if that’s not your thing, we have the best scallops and shrimp in town! Either way this recipe is an easy way to a 5 star dinner!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Bag West Bay Seafood Mix (squid, mussels, and imitation crab)
- OR you can sub for 1/2lb scallops and 1/2 shrimp.
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of finely chopped white onion
- 6 garlic cloves crushed or minced
- ¼ cup white wine
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season your seafood with a healthy sprinkle of salt.
- Melt the butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
- Add the onion and garlic, cook for about two minutes or until things are a nice toasty brown.
- Add Mixed Seafood (or just shrimp if you are not using the seafood mix), white wine, mix well and cook over high heat for about 2 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream (and scallops if you are not using the seafood mix). Cook for about two minutes or until done, and immediately remove from heat.
- Shrimp are done when the make that perfect C shape- if they start to look like O’s they are overdone!
- Scallops are done when they turn white and are nice and firm around the edges.
- Taste and add salt if needed. Add ground black pepper to taste.
- Mix in the chopped parsley and serve immediately.
